Hello and thank you for visiting the Covered Bridges of Vermont.
Photography has always been a passion of mine, allowing me the opportunity to express myself, and reflect on the beauty that this world has to offer. I’ve had a camera in my hand as far back as I can remember, and over the years I have taken thousands of photographs of just about every family event, vacation, and milestone in my life.
I live in Vermont, on the border of western Massachusetts, in an area known as Southern Vermont and the Berkshires. Truly, this is one of the most picturesque regions in all of New England; a photographer’s paradise
Back in 2008, after traveling through Italy, I created the Doors of Italy. In 2010, I decided to create two new prints here in my home state of Vermont; Doors of Vermont and Covered Bridges of Vermont. I also created a new line of greeting / note cards featuring some of my favorite photos, along with cards for each of the prints. Visit RARA Greeting Cards to view the full collection.
I began by traveling throughout the entire state, visiting as many cities, towns, and villages as I possibly could. Along the way, I met some wonderful fellow Vermonters. This photographic journey has taken me all throug this great state, and has reinforced my love for Vermont, the place that I’m proud to call home.
While my goal was to seek out unique doors to photograph, along the way I also visited numerous covered bridges, and this of course led to my decision to publish Covered Bridges of Vermont. I also created a new line of greeting / note cards featuring some of my favorite photos, and of course, cards for each of these prints. All available online at www.raragreetingcards.com.
